Last weekend I led a panel at the NABJ convention, along with the woman in blue. We explained mobile video reporting to the room of journalists, a handful of whom stayed afterwards to continue talking, so we all took the group shot. They said we had a great session.

The Photobiography of Malcolm X

I’m using a nifty new iPhone app that creates frames to let you integrate multiple photos into one image. I had these pics handy because my wife and I recently put on a book club that covered the new biography on Malcolm X by historian Manning Marable. It’s definitely a cover to cover read. During the talk I used my Apple TV, connected to my iMac, to pull up speeches, photos, and videos, which added a lot to the conversation, multimedia aides.
